Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor born on 24 April 1987 who appears in Bollywood movies. He is the son of director David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan. He has an elder brother named Rohit, who is a film director. He studied Business Management at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. He worked as an assistant director to Karan Johar on the 2010 drama My Name is Khan. He made his acting debut with Johar’s romantic comedy movie Student of the Year, Varun Dhawan movies gained a Filmfare nomination for Best Male Debut. The movie was a hit at the box office.

The movie was released on 19 October 2012 starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra, Rishi Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Kayoze Irani, Ram Kapoor, Sana Saeed, Sahil Anand, Mansi Rachh, and so on. It also features Farah Khan, Vaibhavi Merchant, Kajol, and Boman Irani in guest appearances. The movie received positive to negative reviews from critics and was a box office hit.
It is one of the best Varun Dhawan movies and the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2012. Dhawan’s acting was highly appreciated by the audience and for this, Dhawan received a Best Male Debut Award at Lions Gold Awards and Stardust Awards. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (English: The Bride of Humpty Sharma) is a Hindi romantic comedy movie directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar. The movie was released on 11 July 2014 starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Shukla, Ashutosh Rana, and Aditya Sharma. Dhawan plays Rakesh’s “Humpty” Sharma, a flirtatious Punjabi boy who engages in a romantic affair with an engaged woman, Kavya (Alia Bhatt). The story of the movie is very interesting. It is also one of my favorite movies. The movie is full of entertainment, emotions, humor, action, and romance. This movie is counted as the best from Varun Dhawan movies. It is a must-watch movie for those who are looking for a romantic story.
It is one of the finest Varun Dhawan movies. The movie had one of the better openings of the year. I liked all the soundtrack of the movie but my favorite is – Samjhawan by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. Siddharth Shukla made his big-screen debut in a supporting role with this movie. The movie was made under the budget of ₹20 crores and grossed over ₹130.81 crores at the box office.
3. Main Tera Hero (2014)
Main Tera Hero (Translation: I Am Your Hero) is an action-comedy movie directed by David Dhawan and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor for Balaji motion pictures. It was released on 4 April 2014 starring Varun Dhawan, Nargis Fakhri, Ileana D’Cruz, Rajpal Yadav, Arunoday Singh, Saurabh Shukla, Evelyn Sharma, Supriya Shukla, Salman Khan (as Various Gods), Manoj Pahwa. The movie gained mixed reviews from critics and was a semi-hit at the box office. It is a remake of the Telugu movie Kandireega in 2011. The movie was directed by his father David Dhawan. He played the role of Sreenath “Seenu” Prasad, who is in love with Sunaina (Ileana D’Cruz) but is forced to marry Ayesha (Nargis Fakhri). The acting done by Varun Dhawan in the movie was superb.
His comic timing is perfect. I had also watched that movie and I liked the comedy, twists, and songs of the movie. My favorite songs from this movie are-” Galat Baat Hai” and “Palat”. I hope you may also like it. This movie is also the best movie from Varun Dhawan movies. Also, the movie was made with a budget of ₹425 million and grossed over ₹710 million worldwide.
4. Badlapur (2015)
Badlapur is an Indian action crime drama movie directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla. It was released on 20 February 2015 starring Varun Dhawan, Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Divya Dutta, Yami Gautam, Radhika Apte in the lead role. In this movie, Dhawan plays a character of a man who over the course of 15 years avenges the murder of his son and wife. The acting done by Dhawan was appreciated by the audience.

ABCD 2 is an Indian 3D dance movie directed by Remo D’Souza and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. The movie features Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Deva, Lauren Gottlieb, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak, Raghav Juyal, Karthik, Tisca Chopra, and Pravin Bhosle. ABCD 2 was released on 19 June 2015. The movie will explore the real-life struggles of choreographers Vinnie, Vishnu, and Suresh Mukund of Nallasopara, Mumbai, who went on to win the 2012 World Hip-Hop dance championship. The movie is the sequel to the 2013 movie ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. Most of the Varun Dhawan movies received positive reviews from critics as well as from audiences.
All the soundtrack of the movie was superb but my favorite ones are “Bezubaan Phir Se” and “Sun Saathiya”. The song “Bezbaan Phir Se” sung by Visual Dadlani, Anushka Manchanda, and Madhav Krishna gained more than 6 million views on YouTube, and the song ” Sun Saathiya” by Priya Saraiya and Divya Kumar received more than 6.6 million views on YouTube and Shraddha Kapoor is being appreciated for her dance in the number. Must watch a movie, go for it. It is one of the amazing Varun Dhawan Movies distributed by Walt Disney Studios and Motion Pictures.
