There are many movies in Hindi Cinema that are based on youngsters. It was very difficult to choose 10 out of many movies. After completing the list, another movie stuck into my mind and I had to insert that movie in the list. So after spending a whole day on it, Movienasha compiled a list of the Top 10 Bollywood movies for youngsters.
All the movies which are mentioned below were personally watched by me. The numbers here are in any random order and do not suggest any level of greatness in the movie. Must Watch Bollywood Movies for Youngsters
1. 3 Idiots (2009)
3 Idiots is a movie that is totally based on Bollywood movies for youngsters. The movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie was loosely adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat and features Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, R. Madhavan, Boman Irani, and Kareena Kapoor in the lead role. The movie is meant only for youngsters. I refer to this movie as “The best movie” in my whole life. The movie is full of comedy, inspiration, drama, romance, and motivation. 3idiots give a message to all the youngsters that” Go for excellence not for success”.
According to one of the characters in the movie Ranchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad that ” If you are facing any problem, just say All is Well because it gives you the courage to face your problem”. My favorite song from the movie is ” Give me some sunshine Give me some rain Give me another chance I wanna grow up once again”. 2. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (English: You won’t get another life) is one of the best Bollywood movies for youngsters. The movie is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani, and features Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin in the lead roles. I appreciated the title of the movie ” Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”. My favorite from the movie was “bullfighting at the last and car driving in the song, ‘KHWAABON KE PARINDE’. It’s not enough to say because the entire movie was fantastic. “When Katrina asked Hrithik, how did you know that you were going to live beyond 40? And Hrithik realizes that he is losing the fun of life by being so methodical”.
The movie is like a motivation for me though for you also. I recommend to all my readers, youngsters, and movie lovers to watch that movie and share their experiences with us. Live every section of your life. Don’t waste your time thinking that whatever you are doing is right or wrong. Just listen to your heart and do whatever it says.
3. Dil Chahta Hai (2001)
Dil Chahta Hai (English: The Heart Desires, but billed as Do Your Thing) is a Bollywood movie directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani. The movie features Aamir Khan, Preity Zinta, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, and Sonali Kulkarni in a lead role. A film worth watching 10 times. The movie gained the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. This is one of the best Bollywood movies for youngsters. The movie received much praise from critics for portraying contemporary Indian youth as cosmopolitan and urban. I watched Dil Chahta Hai for the first time in a really long time, I still love it as much, if not more than I did when it first came out! If you want a taste of Bollywood, watch this movie.
One of the best contemporary films I’ve seen. The movie is full of comedy, music, drama, and romance. In this movie Aamir Khan changed his hairstyle, juice hairstyle, I think the last movie with the old hairstyle is Lagaan, this movie is Aamir Khan’s total makeover film. The best of this movie is friendship, human relationships, and spectacular nightclub song sequences, a Goa sequence that has been redefined by Indian cinematography to an international level and that too is the debut of Farhan Akhtar as a director.movies for youngsters. This is also counted as best Bollywood This movie is much better than today’s garbage films that are released with sexual sequences and adult content lyrics. I must watch a movie for everyone.

4. Rang De Basanti (2006)
Rang De Basanti (English: Colour it Saffron) is also one of the best Bollywood movies for youngsters directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. The movie features Aamir Khan, Siddharth Narayan, Sharman Joshi, Soha Ali Khan, R. Madhavan, Waheeda Rehman, Kunal Kapoor, Atul Kulkarni, and Alice Patten in the lead roles. The movie received praise for its dialogue and screenplay. The movie is totally meant for youth and our upcoming age.
Some of my favorite scenes in the movie were “When Aamir Khan says – college ke gate ke is Taraf Hum Duniya ko Nachate hai or Dusri taraf Duniya hame Nachati hai”. “koi bhi Desh perfect nahi hota use perfect banana padta h … by madhvan”. “Oye maaa dekh main teray wastay kini soni cheez laya hoon…..aay teri noooo…..teri bahoo…..aaida naam haiga Sue- this is the funniest scene in the movie”. Every single scene, every single dialogue was mind-blowing. It’s difficult to choose one favorite scene from this movie because the whole movie is unique. Every Indian must watch that awesome movie. 5. Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011)
Pyaar Ka Punchnama (English translation: Postmortem of Love) is a Hindi movie directed by Luv Ranjan and produced by Abhishek Pathak. The movie features Kartik Tiwari, Raayo S Bakhirta, Divyendu Sharma, Sonali Sehgall, Nushrat Bharucha, Padam Bhola, Ravjeet Singh, and Ishita Sharma. This is one of the best Bollywood movies for youngsters I’ve watched in a long time and enjoyed it. It’s just so realistic. So much of the reality captured in the movie is what makes it fun and amazing. Check out the best scene of the movie – Pyaar ka Punchnama. I assure you that you will definitely like it.
After watching the movie, I conclude that love is not so easy. Only one can’t balance the relationship, both need to understand each other and help each other to balance it. Boys and girls both need to make the decision and that is the examination of understanding, belief, trust, sensitivity, simplicity, politeness and sacrifice, and many more for both of them. Excellent acting by the three guys, dialogue will make you LAUGH … a refreshing movie … The movie was later referred to as a cult classic. The movie was completed in 50 days at the box office. 6. Rock On!! (2008)
Rock On is a rock musical drama movie directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani. The movie marks the successful Bollywood debut of Prachi Desai and Farhan Akhtar. Along with this, the movie also features Arjun Rampal, Shahana Goswami, Purab Kohli, Koel Purie, Luke Kenny, and Nicolette Bird. Rock On!! Is this a rarity where every component of a character and episode falls into place with fluent energy and strength? if you really want to see how Bollywood has matured and is coming of age, then here’s the perfect litmus test. This is one of my favorite Bollywood movies for youngsters. The movie won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor – Arjun Rampal, Best Male Debut – Farhan Akhtar, Best Story – Abhishek Kapoor, Best Actress (critic’s choice) – Shahana Goswami, and more. 7. Wake Up Sid (2009)
Wake Up Sid is a coming-of-age drama movie directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar. The movie features Ranbir Kapoor, Konkana Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Kashmira Shah, Rahul Khanna, Supriya Pathak, Namit Das and Kainaz Motivala. One of the best movies for youngsters. The movie is all about Sidharth Mehra (Sid), a lazy, careless, unmotivated, sloppy son of a wealthy businessman who belongs to Mumbai. His life undergoes a series of changes after taking a year of college exams.
The most crucial elements in Sid’s life are his friends, his car, his X-box 360, and his camera. Despite all this, Sid is an honest, funny, sweet boy and above all, a good friend. He experiences a sudden change in his lazy ways when he meets a woman at a party, who inspires him to ” Wake Up”. For more, you have to watch the movie. For this movie, Ranbir Kapoor won numerous awards for his performance and was appreciated by the audience. The soundtrack of the movie was extensively popular.

8. Lakshya (2004)
Lakshya (English: Target (Goal)) is a war drama movie directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani. The movie features Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Sharad Kapoor, Om Puri, Boman Irani, and so on. Most people just like masala type of movies but this movie has done more than any other movie. It is one of the best Bollywood movies for youngsters till now and perhaps the best movie in Hrithik’s career.
Check out one of my favorite songs from the movie- Lakshya. This song inspired me to study at the times when I got frustrated with it, and guess what? I accidentally cleared my JEE-Main exam from Lakshya Institute, Patiala, Punjab, India. This song did a lot for me. We all want to see more of these kinds of movies in the future. The moment you know what you were born to do… People come across that moment very rarely.. those who have and have set their minds to achieve it, my salute to all of them. Every vein of the body got energized after listening to that song. This song made my goosebumps come. Just try it once.
9. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (1992)
Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (Translation: He who wins, is the king (Alexander)) is a Hindi movie directed by Mansoor Khan and produced by Nasir Hussain. The movie features Aamir Khan, Mamik Singh, Ayesha Jhulka, Pooja Bedi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Deepak Tijori in the lead roles. It is one of the best movies in Hindi cinema and recommended for the upcoming generation. It’s an inspiring movie. It was such a great movie in the olden days. The movie was dubbed by Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan. It is an evergreen movie. Every time I watch the race in the movie, I get goosebumps, even though I know the result. This is from best Bollywood movies for youngsters. In the movie, you must see the expression of the father when his son won in life and marks his shoulder rise. It is one of my favorite movies I have ever seen. Strongly recommended for youngsters.

10. Sadda Adda (2012)
Sadda Adda is also from Bollywood movies for youngsters. It is a comedy as well as a coming of age movie directed by Muazzam Beg and produced by Rajeev Agarwal and Tarun R. Agarwal. The movie features Karanvir Sharma, Bhaumik Sampat, Kahkkashan Aryan, Shaurya Chauhan, Rohit Arora, Rohin Roberts, Parimol Alok, and Kunal Panth. The movie depicts how six bachelors with different personalities and backgrounds live together. Their apartment “Sadda Adda” is a complete mess with cigarette butts, unwashed and dirty clothes, empty beer bottles, mattresses tossed all over the floor. They carry out the tasks of cleaning, paying the rent, sharing tears and laughter, cooking, and always standing up for each other like a family. The crests and troughs that shape them into the men they will become in the future – because boys will not always be boys. Must watch the movie for everyone. Go for it.
