Manoj Bajpayee (born 23 April 1969) is also known as Manoj Bajpai, an Indian film actor who works predominantly in Bollywood, Tollywood, and Kollywood. He has received praise from many critics for his acting performance in Indian Cinema, most notably for his roles as dacoit Maan Singh in Bandit Queen, Raghavan in Aks, Bhiku Mahatre in Satya, Rasheed in Pinjar, and Sardar Khan in Gangs of Wasseypur. 1. Gang of Wasseypur-Part 1 (2012)
Gang of Wasseypur is my favorite movie that I personally watch and one of the superb Manoj Bajpai movies. It was released in 2012 and directed and produced by Anurag Kashyap, and stars Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Tigmanshu Dhullia, Jaideep Ahlawat, Piyush Mishra, Reemma Sen, Richa Chadda. The movie centered on the Coal mafia of Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and the underlying power struggles, politics, and vengeance between three crime families. Manoj Bajpai movies are really very nice to watch. Its story spans from the early 1940s to the mid-1990s. The entire film was shot in one go but due to the extended time of 318 minutes of the complete print, it was eventually divided into two movies. The film received an A certification from the Indian censor board. The film’s soundtrack is heavily influenced by traditional Indian folk songs.
2. Raajneeti (2010)
Raajneeti is an Indian political thriller film. It was released in 2010 and directed and produced by Prakash Jha and stars Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee, Sarah Thompson, and Naseeruddin Shah. The film draws parallels to the epic Mahabharata where shades of Krishna, Arjuna, Bheema, Duryodhana, and Karna can be seen in the character portrayed. It was released in 2013 and directed by Prakash Jha and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai, Amrita Rao. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Dwarka Anand, a man who is a firm believer of truth and an inherent believer in society who wants his son to give back to society and the nation all that they have given him. Manav and Arjun decided to construct a regional party to eliminate corruption and reconstruct the entire system for the welfare of the common man.

Satya is an Indian crime film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. It was released in 1998 starring Manoj Bajpai, J.D. Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar, Paresh Rawal, Govind Namdev, Saurabh Shukla, Jeeva, and Sanjai Mishra. The first film of the Indian Gangster trilogy, tells the story of Satya, an immigrant who comes to Mumbai seeking his fortune but instead gets sucked into the Mumbai underworld. The film was showcased among the Indian Panorama and the New York Asian Film festival. The film was listed among CNN-IBN’s 100 greatest Indian films of all time. Satya became a surprise hit at the box office in 1998. The film went on to win six Filmfare Awards. It is considered one of the best gangster Manoj Bajpai movies.
5. Shool (1999)
Shool is an Indian Hindi crime movie written by Ram Gopal Varma and directed by E.Nivas. The film portrays the politician-criminal nexus and the criminalization of politics in the state of Bihar and its effect on the life of an honest police officer. It was released in 1999 starring Manoj Bajpai, Raveena Tandon, and Sayaji Shinde. The film stars Manoj Bajpai as inspector Samar Pratap Singh and Sayaji Shinde as the borderline psychopath criminal-politician Bachhu Yadav. The film opens with a late-night telephone call from Patna to Yadav’s residence, where the party he works for has selected another politician for the ticket this time. Yadav wastes no time and gets that politician stabbed under his supervision. This is also counted as the top movie from Manoj Bajpai movies. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
