Sahebzade Irrfan Ali Khan (born 7 January 1967), credited as Irrfan Khan or simply Irrfan, is an Indian film actor known for his work mostly in Bollywood.Khan was born in Jaipur, to a Muslim family. He is also known for his works in British Indian films, Hollywood ventures, and a Telugu film. In India, Irrfan gained the reputation of a skilled actor from his roles in Bollywood movies such as The warrior, Maqbool, Haasil, Paan Singh Tomar, Gunday ,Rog and soon. He also hosted the TV show Mano Ya Na Mano and appeared in popular Vodafone commercials. Khan’s English-language mainstream work includes character roles in movies like The Namesake, New York, Slumdog Millionaire, The Darjeeling Limited, A Mighty Heart, Life of pi and soon.

The LunchBox is one of the superb Irrfan Khan movies. It is an Indian epistolary romantic film written and directed by Ritesh Batra and produced by Guneet Monga, Arun Rangachari, Anurag Kashyap. It was released on 19 May 2013 starring Irrfan Khan, Nimrat Kaur, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film was jointly produced by various studios including DAR Motion Pictures, UTV Motion Productions, Sikhya Entertainment, NFDC (India), ROH Films, ASAP Films (France), and the Cine Mosaic (United States). The film was screened at International Critics’ Week at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, and later won the Critics Week Viewers Choice Award also known as Grand Rail d’Or. It was shown at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. The film was a box-office success.

Paan Singh Tomar is a movie based on the true story of the athlete Paan Singh Tomar. A soldier in the Indian Army, he wins a gold medal at the Indian National Games but is forced to become a notorious dacoit due to some circumstances. The film was released on 2 March 2012 starring Irrfan, Mahi Gill, Vipin Sharma. The movie is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It is also one of the best Irrfan Khan movies and acclaimed a super hit at the box office. The film won the Best Feature Film and Best Actor in the 60th National Film Awards 2012. Paan Singh Tomar is really a good movie to watch. This movie achieved critical acclaim among the Indian critics.

Talvar (English title: Guilty) is a Bollywood drama movie written by Vishal Bhardwaj, directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and Vineet Jain. The movie was released on 2 October 2015 starring Irrfan Khan, Tabu, Konkana Sen Sharma in a lead role. The movie is based on the 2008 Noida double murder case, in which a teenage girl and her family servant were found murdered, and her parents were convicted for the murders. The movie received 8.6 rating by IMDb. The story and the performance of Irrfan Khan were really appreciated by the audience as well as from critics.
The trailer intrigued me to study the Aayushi Talwar’s case and how media’s and public opinion influenced the decision making is SHOCKING. We as a society are very judgemental and to fight this we have a long way to go. I feel this is the issue that we need to talk about! Maqbool is an Indian crime drama film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Bobby Bedi. It was released on 30 January 2004 starring Irrfan Khan, Tabu, Pankaj Kapoor, Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah. It was a brilliant adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth and with Mumbai underworld as its backdrop. Maqbool is the right-hand man of Jahangir khan, a powerful underworld Don.Pankaj Kapoor was awarded the National Film Award for best supporting Actor for his portrayal of a robust Don.
