Published in 2009, “If I Stay” is one of the romantic fantasy novel written by Gayle Forman. The novel narrates the story of a young girl Mia who faces a car accident with her family and she was the only one to survive. Although she was in comma but somehow she finds herself in a place what they call life between dead and alive where she witnessed everything that was happening around. The novel was based on the love story of Hazel Grace (a cancer patient) who fell in love with Augustus Waters who was also an amputee. Their love story affected audience so much that, 20th Century fox decided to make a movie on the novel.
