Drishyam (English: Visual/The Sight) is one of the best suspense movies in Bollywood directed by Nishikant Kamat and produced by Abhishek Pathak, Ajit Andhare, and Kumar Mangat Pathak. The movie was released on 31 July 2015 starring Ajay Devgan, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Rajat Kapoor in the lead role. The biggest USP of the movie is the fascinating story that every moment you are forced to think about what will happen next. One of the best movies I have ever seen, especially from my point of view, the best and perfect movie of Bollywood till now without any mistakes of direction, at least no cheap and fake dramas, climax, vulgar dances of nude heroines, and actions.

It is one of the most anticipated movies of 2015 and a remake of Jeethu Joseph’s 2013 Malayalam movie Drishyam. The most important thing is that the Hindi audience accepts such different stories and movies which have no masala, item songs or fights, or villains. Even if it is remade, good movies should be remade and made well so that the Bollywood audience gets to see good things. It’s high time that the Bollywood audience starts accepting good themes, subjects, and stories like South, Marathi, and Bengali audiences accept. Anyway, hats off the climax…!! (Must watch the movie)

2. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015)

I watched it again yesterday and shall watch it again and again whenever I get a chance. and, of course, one of the reasons is the acting of Neeraj Kabi. This movie is a great mix of noir and detective thrillers. The movie is full of suspense and thrillers. The movie gained a positive review from the critics as well as from audiences. This mystery is the one you would even want to solve. The dialogue between Dr.Guha’s Bakshy Babu meri Dosti nahi Le sake, toh meri Dushmani kaise loge is awesomely presented by Neeraj Kabi. One thing I tell you that I didn’t want to see it at first because I heard it sucked, but I was like what the hell let’s just give it a shot and it was such a good movie! Emotional and suspenseful, this movie doesn’t disappoint. For Ghajini, the role required him to bulk up. But in Talaash, he was supposed to look like an everyday man. Aamir has consistently proven to give his best in the role. Beautifully woven story. The climax was well executed. The last 20 minutes are certainly jaw-dropping. Rani and Kareena booked their nominations for various award functions with their phenomenal acting. Aamir once proved why he is regarded as Mr. Perfectionist. * Ugly (2013)

best suspense movies
source: www.mouthshut.com

This movie was suggested by one of my addicted movie lovers. He wanted me to mention that movie on the list. After watching and discussing it with my team, I think this movie should be on the list. Without adding this movie, the list will not be completed. Thanks to Wriddhi for recommending me such a great movie.

Ugly is one of the best suspense movies of 2014 which I forgot to mention in the list. This movie is full of suspense+thriller which was directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Phantom Films. The movie features Rahul Bhat, Ronit Roy, Girish Kulkarni, Siddhanth Kapoor, and many others in the lead role.

Ugly would have felt like an exaggeration of dark characters. Ugly is an amazing movie that gave us a big lesson that protects your kids and saves them from evil eyes. This movie hit me hard. Anurag Kashyap is too smart for the Indian audience. Only a highly creative man can make this type of movie. Ugly is one of the best films by Kashyap. The people who have seen and understood Interstellar and Inception will understand this too!!!! The movie is not meant for everyone. Not everyone’s cup of tea. Ugly” is a disturbing movie that will make you wriggle in your seat. But if you don’t mind that, it is worth a watch. If you really want to watch this movie, then click the link and share your views with us- Ugly Movie.

* Talvar (2015)

best suspense movies
source: www.facebook.com

Talvar (English title: Guilty) is one of the best Bollywood thriller movies directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Vineet Jain and Vishal Bhardwaj. The movie was released on 2 October 2015 starring Irrfan Khan, Konkana Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi, and Sohum Shah in the lead role. The movie is based on the 2008 Noida double murder case. The film has tried to cover all the aspects regarding Aarushi’s murder case. I am very disappointed with the way CBI and the police handled this case. Talvar is a film striving to portray the case not in a black and white manner by clearly demarcating who is in the right and who in the wrong, but by trying to present all sides of the case in an unbiased manner.

However, the film will fail in its endeavor if the public itself decides to take sides before reviewing the film. If we have already firmly made up our minds regarding the culprits and the perpetrators of this case, I see no point in those individuals seeing this film. The prime objective of this motion picture will fall flat on people whose vision is already tainted with their version of black and white. This movie has literally shaken me from inside. I can’t get over its impact. It really hits you deep inside your mind. It compels you to think over the circumstances and re-rationalize your thoughts. “Talvar” in a true sense, the conflict between justice and prejudice has a deep impact on us and our society. It’s an eye-opening movie and I must watch a movie.

The movie generally received positive reviews.

The film revolves around the story of an 18-year-old girl, Ayesha Mahajan (Sakshi Sem), who is murdered in her own house. Her father Sachin Mahajan (Ashish Vidyarthi) is deemed the prime suspect in the murder. CBI Officer Sunil Paraskar (Kay Kay Menon) picks up the case and soon finds evidence that makes it more difficult to determine who exactly is responsible for Ayesha’s death.
