South Korean movies are really good to watch. I don’t know about Korean language but I do watch Korean movies in English dubbed language and I really enjoy it while watching. I am also a big fan of Korean movies especially action movies. Here, I am going to mention the list of 2016 Korean language romantic comedy films. This list is completely in view of my feeling, so no offense, please. I trust this rundown will tempt you to watch a few. If you don’t mind leave remark or input on the off chance that you think diversely and have something as a top priority which you need me to take note. Your remarks or criticism are generally welcome! Let’s start the list:
List of 2016 Korean Language Romantic Comedy Films
1. The Handmaiden (1 June 2016)
The Handmaiden is an erotic romantic mystery thriller movie directed by Park Chan-wook and based on the novel Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. The movie features Kim Min-hee, Kim Tae-Ri, Ha Jung-woo, Cho Jin-Woong in a lead role. This movie is always included in the list of 2016 Korean language romantic comedy films. This movie was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.

2. A Man and a Woman (25 February 2016)
A Man and a Woman is a south Korean romantic movie directed by Lee Yoon-ki. The movie features Jeon Do-yeon, Gong Yoo, Lee Mi-so, Park Min-ji, Yoon-Se-ah, Park Byung-eun, Min Moo-je, Kang Shin-chul, Lee Ji-hoon, No Kang-min, Jeon Ye-seo, Kang Ji-woo and Kim Hye-ok. This movie is amazing to watch. While watching this movie, you will definitely blush, chuckle, cry and stun. A Man and a Woman is worth your time. If you still have any doubt, then watch the trailer first and after that the whole movie.

3. Time Renegades (13 April 2016)
Time Renegades is a south Korean thriller romantic movie directed by Kwak Jae-yong. The movie features Im Soo-jung, Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jin-wook, Jung Jin-young, Lee Min-ho, Lee Ki-woo, On Joo-wan, Jeon Sin-hwan, Kim Bo-ra and Jeong Woong-in. The movie was number one on its opening weekend in South Korea with US$2.5 million and a total of 547,000 admissions and US$3.94 million in its first five days. I recommend the movie if you are up for a supernatural and time defying romance. It’s a good movie to watch.

4. Pure Love (24 February 2016)
Pure Love aka Unforgettable is a South Korean romantic drama movie directed by Lee Eun-hee. The movie features Do Kyung-soo, Kim So-hyun, Lee David, Joo Da-young, Yeon Joon-seok, Park Yong-woo, Park Hae-joon, Kim Ji-ho, Lee Dae-yeon and many others as a supporting role.
This movie revolved around the romantic tale of Beom-sil and Soo-ok. It began as Beom-sil, the one who’s deep in love with Soo-ok. But the pure Soo-ok knew nothing about love. Until, Beom-sil found out that Soo-ok had been secretly seeing the doctor from the city. The story continued from that point. Be prepared if you have decided to watch this movie. It’s very sad and romantic. Bring some tissue box, ice creams, and a buddy to cry with.

5. Love, Lies (13 April 2016)
Love, Lies is a romantic drama movie directed by Park Heung-sik. The movie features Han Hyo-joo, Chun Woo-hee, Yoo Yeon-seok, Park Sung-woong, Jang Young-nam, Lee Han-wi, Ryu Hye-young and many other in a supporting role. The story happens in 1943, during the Imperial Japanese occupation of Korea. In the film, best friends Jung So-yul and Seo Yeon-hee are two of the last remaining gisaeng.
Despite the fact they enjoy pop music, they are focused on singing jeongga, or classical Korean songs. So-yul’s life falls apart when her lover, pop music producer Kim Yoon-woo (Yoo Yeon-seok), falls in love with Yeon-hee and helps her debut as a pop singer. The story takes after So-yul’s downward spiral as she is consumed by uncontrollable jealousy.

6. Will You Be There? (5 December 2016)
Will You Be There? is a fantasy romantic drama movie directed by Ji-Yeong Hong. The movie features Kim Yoon-seok, Kim Sang-ho, Ho-jung Kim in a lead role. The movie is about a surgeon who goes back to the past and revives his deceased lover. This movie is one of the best movies included in the list of 2016 Korean language romantic comedy films.

7. Mood of the Day (14 January 2016)
Mood of the Day is a South Korean comedy romance drama type of movie directed by Jo Kyu-jang. The movie features Moon Chae-won, Yoo Yeon-seok, Jo Jae-yoon, Kim Seul-gie, Park Min-woo, Lee Yeon-doo, Kang Soo-jin and Lee Un-jung.
Plot: By chance, a man and a woman meet on the KTX train and spend 24 hours in the unfamiliar city of Busan, South Korea. With a boy of easy going attitude and women an one man woman, the move is about interesting series of events happening between them and ultimately they fall in love.

8. Life Risking Romance (14 December 2016)
Life Risking Romance is a romantic thriller drama movie which was directed by Song Min-kyu. The movie features Ha Ji-won, Chun Jung-myung, Chen Bolin, Oh Jung-se, Yoon So-hee, Lee Da-in, Jo Byeong-gyu, Kim Won-hae and Kim Hee-chan.
Chun Jung Myung is a police officer that does everything he can for his crush and best friend, Ha Ji Won keeps seeing crime everywhere and Chen Bo Lin is the handsome outsider surrounded by mystery. These three have amazing chemistry together and they make the movie thrilling. One of the best parts of the movie is that we can’t be sure about who the real killer is until the end. Life Risking Romance movie is an excellent romantic/crime/comedy/thriller that everyone will enjoy.

9. Don’t Forget Me (7 January 2016)
Don’t Forget Me aka Remember You, is a mystery/romance/melodrama type of movie which was directed by Yoon-jung-Lee. The movie features Jung Woo-sung, Kim Ha-neul, Bae Seong-woo, Jang Young-nam, On Joo-wan, Lim Ju-eun and Lee Jun-hyeok in a lead role.
Plot: A lawyer suffering from severe memory loss and a total change of character investigates his past and his connection to a woman he meets in a hospital.

10. My New Sassy Girl (5 May 2016)
My New Sassy Girl is a South Korean-Chinese romantic comedy movie which was directed by Joh Keun-Shik. The movie features Cha Tae-hyun, Victoria Song, Bae Seong-woo, Mina Fujii, Choi Jin-ho and Song Ok-suk in a lead role. This movie is a sequel to My Sassy Girl in 2001.

11. Like for Likes (17 February 2016)
Like for Likes is a south Korean romantic comedy movie directed by Park Hyun-jin. The movie features Lee Mi-yeon, Choi Ji-woo, Kim Joo-hyeok, Yoo Ah-in, Kang Ha-neul, Esom, Jung Eugene and Ji Yoon-ho. The era of social media right now is really loved by the public, it is no wonder through the film Likes Like for a duration of 2 hours, the trend is incorporated and become an important part of how the story is told. The film tells how a connection is established with spices social media as connectors.
